Martha

Maid of Honor

Martha and I met in 2015, and our friendship has grown over the years to what it is today so much that I calls her my sister from another mister! Martha is a selfless person who is always looking out for others and inadvertently has played the role of mediator for us on a few occasions (LOL!). Martha helped Keilin plan the surprise proposal all the way from her home in Iowa and didn't let a flight delay keep her from missing the housewarming/proposal, instead she bought a last-minute flight through a different airline to MAKE SURE she was there for Keilin and I. We're blessed to have her as a friend and I'm proud to have her as my Maid of Honor.

Dea

Matron of Honor

Dea and I have known each other since middle school. After a missed bus caused me to be stranded at school, Dea invited me over to her house until my mom was able to pick me up. We bonded over volleyball since we didn't have much to talk about with Dea's broken English considering she had recently moved to the U.S.A from Croatia but we've been friends ever since that day! 22 years of friendship and we're still kicking! Dea has been there for all of the major milestones in my life so of course I had to have her a part of the next chapter in my life as my Matron of Honor.

Brandon

Man of Honor

Brandon and I met in middle school....WEDGWOOD but our friendship grew after having the same Theatre class in high school and getting kicked out of Ms. Staton's class every other week. To this day, I don't know why she didn't like us because we were great students :-)

Another 20+ year friendship here! I remember the day he came to my apartment to show me the ring he was going to propose to his then girlfriend, now wife, CJ with and I was so proud of him for taking that next step and ultimately becoming the man, husband and father that he is today. Lani played the flower girl in his wedding but since its FTK, I'm having him be the Man of Honor at my wedding!

Chasity

Bridesmaid

Chasity is my older sister who is also the enforcer of the family and doesn't take much nonsense from anyone so tread lightly! Although distance may keep us apart, we know that they can always count on each other to be there to support one another. I was a bridesmaid in Chasity's wedding so I'm happy to be able to have her included in my big day!

Sade

Bridesmaid

Sade is a ray of sunshine who always has a smile on her face and can easily turn a frown upside down! Sade and I met through our daughter's playing volleyball and basketball together, so shout-out to Kelani and Saniyah for this one! Our relationship has grown over the last year, that they even took our first Mother-Daughter trip together with our girls to Cancun. The trip was a great time and we're definitely looking to take another one! Sade is my self-proclaimed brunch/happy hour buddy and is always sending new places for us to try on our next girl's night out. I'm blessed to have a friend like Sade and looking forward to our friendship blossoming even more in the years to come.
